Our Company

Melisagro SA (group of companies) is a manufacturing, packaging and trading company of Corinthian currants and Sultana raisins.

It was founded in 2018 in Hrakleio of Crete and we decided to construct a brand new factory in Melissi of Corinth, a small city of Corinthian gulf in the North Peloponnese. It is one of the most coeval sites in raisins market in Greece.It’s equipped with metal detector, laser and X-Ray machine.

However, it was not something new for us. We have been involved within the raisins industry for 20 years.

The company was founded by Takis Papavasileiou, Minas Melissidis and Theoharis Papadakis. That’s the reason why Melisagro PC is a group of companies. The combination of three families, three companies, which includes Greek Dried Fruits SA, Agrogo SA and Alex I. Melissidis SA, trading companies which are under Melisagro’s umbrella.

Our brand new site is located 100 miles distance from Athens in the North of Peloponnese. Our company has been assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 – ISO 22000:2005, BRC, ISF as well as H.A.C.C.P hygiene systems in its proceeding techniques of Sultana Raisins and Corinthian Currants.

We’re manufacturing, packaging, trading and exporting more than 4.000MT per year in all over the world. We export our products in Asia, Europe, America, Australia, Canada. Main customers are global importers of bakery and food industry.
